Sophie's Journey

Sophie's Journey - A Charity Partnership
Our collaboration journey started 20th January 2026

Sophie’s Journey is a charity born from love, loss, and hope. It was founded by Stacy Southwell in memory of her daughter, Sophie, who passed away in January 2016 at just 12 years old after a brave two year battle with a brain tumour. Sophie’s Journey exists to give Lincolnshire children, adults, and their families living with cancer something precious: the chance to enjoy a free holiday together, to make memories, and to find moments of joy in the middle of life’s toughest battles.

We are incredibly proud to support Sophie’s Journey through our Eco Seed Balls.

We have designed some bespoke boxes of Eco Seed Balls for Sophie's Journey, in loving memory of Colin Sherwood, a Lincolnshire man with a lifelong love of tractors. Since his passing, Colin’s family has raised thousands of pounds for Sophie’s Journey, keeping his spirit alive through acts of kindness and generosity.

Our Eco Seed Ball boxes were designed with Colin and his family in mind. On the front, a bright yellow tractor sits among a bed of wildflowers. A gentle symbol of peace, growth and new beginnings. Each box represents more than just seeds; it represents hope, remembrance, and the power of community coming together to make a difference.

This is a brand new charity partnership and the first boxes are currently in making.
You can help us in our bid to support Sophie's Journey.

Visit their charity shop, which opened in late 2024, and purchase our Eco Seed Ball boxes. Every single penny of the sale goes directly to Sophie’s Journey, helping fund these life-changing holidays.

Every purchase helps Sophie's Journey continue their incredible work and ensures that both Sophie's memory and Colin's legacy continue to bring joy, comfort and support to families across Lincolnshire.

Seed Jars for Sophie's Journey

We pledge to raise a minimum of £500 for Sophie’s Journey.

Every single penny raised from this special seed jar will be donated directly to Sophie’s Journey, not just the profit, but 100% of the money from every sale.

£500 will sponsor one tile in Sophie’s Journey’s appeal to raise £250,000 to build the first ever Lincolnshire Palliative Holiday Home. This extraordinary space will give families facing the most difficult of journeys the chance to spend precious time together, making memories away from hospitals and clinical settings.

If we are able to raise more than £500, our hope is to fund the next tile sponsorship. This would mean raising £1,000 in total and we will continue to donate every penny raised for as long as this appeal runs.

Alongside our Teeny Weeny Seed Jars, we have created a very special Seed Jar for Sophie’s Journey. This jar is made from glass and is approximately two and a half times the size of our original Teeny Weeny seed jars. Each one is blue in colour and filled with care and purpose.

The colour blue was chosen for a reason close to the heart. Sophie, who sadly lost her life to cancer at the age of 12, loved blue butterflies. They continue to hold deep meaning for Sophie’s family, who often see blue butterflies when they are out and about, bringing them comfort and a sense of Sophie being near.

This seed jar is our small way of honouring Sophie’s memory while supporting a cause that offers light, care, and kindness to families who need it most. By purchasing a Seed Jar for Sophie’s Journey, you are helping to build something lasting a place of rest, love, and togetherness for generations to come.

Thank you for supporting Sophie’s Journey and for helping us turn seeds into hope
